Superfood Spotlight on Galia Melon
Like most in the melon family, the nutritional profile of the galia melon is superfood worthy as it contains that electrolyte filled hydration power and the cherished vitamins A and C. In summary, it can help keep you hydrated, lower your blood pressure and keep that immunity strong.
One of my favorite ways to indulge in melon is freezing it. Try making popsicles by pureeing melon with about 5-10 mint leaves, a pinch of sugar and a splash of lime juice. Pour into molds and freeze.
