Welcome to the 12th Floor Lounge
In August 2022, UBS revitalized the common area located on the 12th floor of its Americas headquarters. The 12th floor includes several amenities listed below:
12th Floor Lounge
Adjacent to the 12th floor pantry is an open seating area known as the 12th Floor Lounge. It will be activated in August to include activities for employees to engage in, including food tastings, movies, shoe shines, and volunteer opportunities.
Roof Terrace
The outdoor terrace on the 12th floor of the 1285 building provides employees with the opportunity to enjoy both sunshine and great views of Midtown Manhattan. Visitors will find fixed and modular seating for 60 people, as well as a 1,500-sq-ft green roof featuring a variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. There is also an herb garden used by the in-house culinary staff to create great meals.
The terrace is the perfect space to enjoy lunch, meet with colleagues, or simply take a break outside. The space is bookable for special events such as client events, team building sessions, social gatherings, and catered meals. The terrace is open weekdays from 7:00am until 10:00pm.
Roof Terrace Lounge
Adjacent to the Roof Terrace is a lovely seating area known as the Roof Terrace Lounge. It is the perfect space to use when the weather is not amenable for outdoor seating on the Roof Terrace.
TechPoint
Described as “expert support with a human touch”, TechPoint helps UBS employees navigate the ever-changing landscape of office technology. TechPoint advisors help users to improve and enhance their current desktop and mobile devices. They also offer virtual workshops regularly on topics such as UBS Workspace, Office 365, MobilePass, and MyHub.
Grab & Go Café
The Grab & Go Café on the 12th floor provides employees with a choice of delicious breakfast, lunch, and snack options. A 50% discount is offered on Mondays and Fridays, and a 25% discount is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Mother’s Room
There is a Mother’s Room on the 12th floor, which is a private space for new mothers to use for lactation. Access to the room can be scheduled by calling 212.713.1193.
Quiet Rooms
There are two quiet rooms on the floor for employees to use for prayer and meditation.
