Hold on to your NY Strips and T- Bones as COVID-19 forces meatpacking facilities to shut down. As the general American public panics, perhaps we can see the silver lining and use this opportunity to think a little differently. Think in a more plant-forward manner. Not only is this a sustainable option and beneficial for our health, but our wallets and the animals may not mind either. The wellness industry has been preaching a plant-based diet for years but many of us have never taken the time to experiment or explore plant-based possibilities in the kitchen. I’m encouraging you to use your time wisely and start moving vegetables to the center of your plate. I promise you the health benefits will outlive COVID-19.
